Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening
Audio teachings from Joseph Goldstein

 

 

Each evening we begin with a 20-minute meditation with some words of guidance.  Then we will listen to a 45-minute audio teaching by Joseph Goldstein.  The last portion of each class is open for questions, reflections and dialog to integrate the teachings into our own daily experience with family, work and friends.  These Tuesday evening series have proven to be a valuable time for connection with like-minded others and support for aware presence in daily life.  More details….

Ongoing Weekday Groups

Women’s Mindfulness Groups
Women’s Mindfulness Groups meet each week:
Friday 12-2pm

This group supports inner peace, conscious relationships, aware living, and overall happiness. A forum for bringing the experience of daily life in line with what we know to be true. Different topics and aspects of life surface for exploration each week.  Readings from favorite spiritual teachers.  Joining the mindfulness group requires a 4-week commitment to start.  The Friday Women’s Mindfulness Groups is currently full at 8 members.  Call or send a note to be included on the wait list for openings.

Weekly Drop-in Events

Short silent sitting followed by
DVD of Eckhart Tolle and group discussion.

Simple silence followed by tea and perhaps a short reading. Sitting with a group on a weekly basis helps support a regular home practice or is a wonderful repose just as it is. A meditation room is open daily with scheduled group sittings weekdays, 6-6:30pm.

Retreats

Day-long and weekend retreats happen are offered periodically.  These are based on the teachings of Pema Chodron, Adyashanti, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jack Kornfield and others.
